True Stories ~ Prompt 7

A Flash In The Pan

My eyes open to see new surroundings. It smells of cardboard and all I can see are boxes piled high. My heart was racing as I realised I was alone. Tears start to well, stinging my eyes. No turning back. I felt scared, worried, alone. Could I do this? I had no idea, but what I did know was that I had no choice.
