Sorry blog, I've been neglecting you badly

with a long and picture heavy post, sorry.

I hadn't realised how long it was since I posted in here. Since I last posted, we've had Christmas and Easter and we're on the way to the Spring holiday. Yes, I dared to say the word Spring even though there's snow in some parts of the UK at the moment. Weather forecast over, how are you all?

I've had an up and down start to my year. Christmas was good. My Mum, youngest sister and brother-in-law came to mine along with Mum's dog. Christmas dinner was a success and all in all, the day was brilliant.

Just before New Year, I developed a leg infection which had me stuck on the sofa for 2 weeks. Bored, fed up and desperate to get back to work. Eventually, I was ok to start again and was there for my first year anniversary of working at the pub. A whole year in work and it felt amazing. A week or so after going back, I was off again with a chest infection. Doctor's orders again and I was laid up at home, coughing, wheezing and on anti-biotics again, but this time with the added help of an inhaler. Thank goodness that went eventually.

I managed to do some crafting while I was off for the challenges on UKScrappers. Here's some more of my LOs

This one (below) made it onto the Home Page of UKScrappers :D

I had a few days off work and my youngest sister came to stay.
We spent some time making curtains for my dining room.
Isn't the material beautiful?

We also had a Blue Brads Fun Night on UKScrappers. Leanne and I organised 3 nights of challenges, competitions and a bingo aided by a Bradette; Ally, who set a challenge. It was a shame that more people couldn't join in, but that's always going to be the case unfortunately. With 7 teams and up to 10 people in each team, I wish we could all be free at the same time. Imagine how much chat there would be? We had pages of chat as it was! I set a class to help look at scrapbook sketches in a different way. It seems to have gone down well and helped some to not be so scared of them in the future. Ally's challenge was Lost and Found to scrap something you have lost/found and include some blue

Leanne set a two night challenge. First to make a trio of embellishments and then to use them on a LO

To finish with, a few more LOs to show I have been busy while I've been AWOL

I've used so many kits in these LOs that it would be impossible and very time consuming to list them all. If you see something you like and want to know more, please ask and if I can remember what kit it was, I'll let you know..

Well done if you've made it all the way to the end. Yes, this is the end. I'll try not to be gone for so long next time.

Love, Sarah
